Michael Knapic's decision to pursue a career in healthcare was influenced by my father, who was a physician. He impressed me with his skills and patient care, and I wanted to follow in his footsteps. As a college athlete, I saw many athletes suffer a variety of sports-related injuries and benefit from orthopaedic care, and this was very interesting to me- so much that I wanted to make it my career. I eventually earned my medical degree and completed residency training in orthopaedic surgery. I really enjoy my job because it gives me the opportunity to interact with patients, diagnose their condition and provide them with surgical solutions that can eliminate their pain or dysfunction. Ultimately, this can improve their overall quality of life.

Michael Knapic, is interested in many things including: Riding and Showing Arabian Horses, Cooking, Hunting, Music, physical fitness, outdoor activities and Michael also serves as the team doctor for Wooster High School and The College of Wooster.
